In the midst of her rocky (pun intended) transition from a corporate desk to a jeweler's bench, designer Shuang Everett Li began creating jewelry as wearable reminders to help ground her, especially during moments of uncertainty and doubt.

Her jewelry line, Everli, celebrates the joy and freedom of listening to our inner voice and charting our own paths.

Shuang's design aesthetic is very much influenced by the organic forms, textures and symbolisms found in nature. Her jewelry is best described as "simple with a meaningful twist." Each piece carries a warm, imperfect quality that invites its wearer to take a closer look, both at the message behind their jewelry and at their everyday life.

Whether you're finding your way, embarking on a new adventure, seeking encouragement, or desiring a deeper connection with the life you've built, we hope you find a piece of jewelry that speaks to you and becomes a part of your journey.

About Designer

I’m a first-generation immigrant and came to the States when I was 12. Growing up, I was keenly aware of the sacrifices that my grandparents and parents had made for my future. I worked hard to meet the expectations set of me: straight As, perfect SAT scores, an Ivy League school, a well paid job at a Fortune 100 company.

On paper, I was living the dream. But I couldn’t shake off the feeling that I was sleep-walking through life. What was missing became clear when I made my first pair of earrings and felt that flicker of pure joy. This is what I want to do. But I was held back by the fear of failing and the guilt of disappointing my family.

Four years later, I found my courage on a mountaintop.

At first it seemed absurd to walk for hours up and then back down. But as time passed, I stopped fixating on that goal. I hiked to discover what’s beyond the next bend, to savor the cool breeze on my sweaty back, to enjoy feeling so small yet so alive within this vast landscape. When I finally reached the peak, I beheld the most amazing view: Myself. Stronger, braver, and free.

Had I said "No", I would have completely missed this moment. I did not want to make such a mistake in life.

With my husband's encouragement, I jumped into the world of jewelry making. When I launched Everli two years later (after oh so many emotional rollercoasters), I dedicated my first design to the mountains that awakened me. This ring has since spoken to many of you, becoming your lucky charm, symbol of commitment, and a source of encouragement.

Everyday I feel grateful that I get to do what I love for a living. The other day, it occurred to me that I am finally making use of the gift that my grandparents gave me all those years ago: the freedom to write my own story.

I hope my jewelry inspires you to listen to your own voice, encourages you to explore what makes you feel fulfilled and celebrates you along that journey.
